Job Responsibilities: Cas engages with faculty and research offices across Penn State in the development of complex, interdisciplinary research proposals for a variety of federal and state sponsors.
Professional Background: Cas joined the SIRO Development Team in 2024 with experience at Penn State as lifecycle grant administrator. Cas received their dual Bachelor’s in Classics and Anthropology from Penn State and worked for several years in Cultural Resource Management prior to coming back to Penn State. Their experience includes technical writing and copyediting, teaching, and proposal development. Away from work, they are a medieval re-enactor and historical martial artist.
