Carol serves as a member of the Grants and Contractual Compliance Team. The team’s main responsibilities include:
- Review and processing of standard federal grants from various agencies such as National Science Foundation (NSF), National Institutes of Health (NIH), U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Office of Naval Research (ONR), and others.
- Review and processing of other non-negotiable agreement types such as Tuition Agreements, Expedited ARSOs, Student NDAs, and others.
- Assist with the monitoring and resolution of various delinquent report notifications received on behalf of the University.
Carol graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with an Associate Degree and Bachelor of Arts Degree. Previous roles at Penn State include Proposal and Award Generalist for the Strategic Interdisciplinary Research Office (SIRO). Prior to working at Penn State, Carol worked at AAAS/Science Magazine in Washington, D.C., as the Product Advertising Manager for over 15 years.
Carol graduated the ACES program and serves on the Quality Assurance Committee in the Office of Sponsored Programs.
