Jennifer Taylor-Hillebrand has over twenty years of experience in research administration, with eleven of those years spent at the Pennsylvania State University. During her initial tenure at Penn State, she worked mainly in the Office of Sponsored Programs, serving as a Negotiator, Senior Negotiator, Subaward Policy Specialist, and Chair of the Subaward Committee. After gaining additional experience as a Senior Research Administrator at a private university and holding senior roles in subaward administration at a public land-grant research university, Jen has returned to Penn State to serve as Director of the Subaward Administration and Compliance Office.
Jen has frequently presented on subawards to faculty, departments, and research administration staff. She has also presented at the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) and represented Penn State in the Federal Demonstration Partnership. Jen has received the Penn State Administrative Committee on Research Award for Outstanding Service and the Penn State Emerging Leaders Certificate. She completed the Administrative Committee on Research Fellows Program, earned the Penn State Certified Research Administrator certification, and was an instructor in the ACES program. More recently, she participated in the Society of Research Administrators (SRA) LevelUP Micro-credential Program. Jen holds a B.A. in Psychology from West Chester University.
