Office of Industrial Partnerships
The Office of Industrial Partnerships (OIP) was formed in 2014 as part of a broader strategic initiative at the Pennsylvania State University to enhance both economic development and student career success. The office consists of three organizations that support building strategic win-win partnerships with industry.
Corporate Engagement Center
A partnership between University Development, The Office of the Vice President for Research, and University Career Services with the mission of developing and implementing strategic and multi-element relationships with industry and acting as the “Front-Door” to the University.
Innovation Park
A strategic asset for industry collaboration and support of our entrepreneurial ecosystem. A 118 acre business and research park with over 1 million square feet of office, manufacturing, and research space in a Keystone Innovation Zone (KIZ).

Intellectual Property at Penn State
Tech transfer from research at Penn State generated $22.5 million in fiscal 2015. This is partly thanks to the university's reworked approach to intellectual property, which makes it easier than ever for researchers to work with outside companies to fast-track innovations.
